At present all appointment are in person in our clinic. Please wear a face mask if you have a cough/ cold/ fever, to prevent spread of infection.

- Discussing more than one medical issue per visit, maximum 2 medical issues per visit.

- An office procedure

- Periodic health assessment (previously called annual physicals)

- Well child visit,

- Major prenatal visit

- Mental health visit

- Counseling visit

Telephone visits limited only to test results follow up, at a physician discretion. For telephone appointments a patient will receive a call from a private caller ID. We may at times are behind schedule, and if we have not called you at the appointed time, expect a phone call within 30 minutes;

Appointment Types

1) Video Visit via Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN)
3) In-person Visit

Before an OTN appointment you will receive an email with a guest-link invitation. Please provide your email address to the clinic. We always encourage to consider in person visit, it increases diagnostic accuracy.

2) Telephone Appointment
Most appointments are 15 minutes

for most medical issues:

- Follow up of chronic medical conditions;

- Prescription refills (usually including re-evaluation of a treated condition)

- Acute illness visits

- GYN concerns/ pap smear

- Follow-up prenatal visits

20-minute appointment

for more complex medical visits:

5-10 minute appointment:

- Allergy shots

- Vaccinations and injections

What to bring to your appointment

- OHIP card

- Medication list, including doses

- Home blood pressure or blood sugar records if applicable

Prescription refills requests from pharmacies will not be automatically renewed but require an appointment. Therefore, please check the status of your prescriptions in advance to request a renewal for your prescriptions during your visit. Patients who would like to have automatic renewal of prescriptions can sign up for an annual prescription renewal plan; an additional fee will apply.

Missed Appointments

The office staff will not call to confirm appointments, however if we have your email address on file, you will receive an email with an appointment reminder 48 hours prior to your medical visit.

24 hours notice is required to avoid a missed appointment fee 40$. Repeat missed appointments could lead to termination of the patient-physician relationship.
